Connect: secure access to building data

To make a building smarter, reliable data is needed. In practice, this information is often only available locally within technical installations.

With PULSE CORE Connect, these data sources are linked to our digital platform via a secure connection. In this way, invisible data is converted into usable insights.

Our platform

Certified safety

When connecting a building management system (BMS), digital security is paramount. Connect ensures a secure connection, with our working method complying with ISO-27001 standards for information security.

This ensures that data integration takes place within a protected environment and that the integrity of the corporate network remains safeguarded. Management of this lies entirely with PULSE CORE, resulting in a reliable and maintenance-free system environment.

The three foundations of Connect

To convert building data into valuable insights, a combination of technology, software, and human expertise is required. PULSE CORE Connect brings this together in an integrated approach.

Laying infrastructure

The foundation of Connect is the establishment of a reliable and secure data infrastructure. A link is established between the building management system (or other data source) and our digital platform via certified connections.

  • Full management: PULSE CORE manages the connection to on-site installations via SPIE's own APN network. With exclusively assigned SIM cards and network segments, equipment at customer sites is securely connected to our shielded network connection.

    • Customization: The connection is tailored to the specific systems and security requirements of the building.

      • 24/7 monitoring: The connections are continuously monitored by PULSE CORE. If a fault is detected, we take action as soon as possible.
Access to GBS portal

Once the connection is established, the BMS portal provides remote access to all connected systems. This portal operates independently of the brand, which means that different types of installations can be managed from a single central point.

  • Overview and control: Users have direct visibility of the status of all installations from a single central point.

    • Traceability: All changes and actions are recorded in a digital logbook. The source software of the connected building management systems is managed in the software archive, ensuring clarity regarding who is working with the software. This provides control over mutations and adjustments in the BMS.

      • Remote access:Installations can be monitored and managed remotely via the BMS portal, without the need for physical presence on site.
Smart fault reporting

Connect is more than just technology: it is a continuous process in which the operators of PULSE CORE play an important role. After all, malfunctions are not only collected but also assessed immediately.

  • Proactive monitoring: Operators process the malfunction reports from the BMS and determine follow-up actions based on the urgency.

    • Immediate action: Where possible, operators resolve malfunctions remotely. If necessary, technicians from SPIE in the region are dispatched directly for on-site assistance.
